Elburn Forest Preserve is also very close to Blackberry Creek and is one of Kane County’s oldest forest preserves. Here you can delight in a forest filled with tall oak and hickory trees as well as the largest shagbark tree in the county. This preserve is a popular place for family gatherings and group picnics.

Less than 10 minutes away from the Blackberry Creek community, the Kuipers Family Farm is a 230 acre entertainment farm. This popular farm offers lots of activities for the entire family to enjoy, including apple and pumpkin picking, fall hayrides, and the spring tulip festival, just to name a few. The farm is also a favorite venue for weddings.
